We are currently accepting applications for AVIONICS MANAGER.
Reporting to the VP - Customer Support, the Duties and Responsibilities of the Avionics Manager include, but are not limited to;
Organize, schedule and assign tasks for the day to day operations and projects of the avionics shop,
Supervision of avionics technicians as they conduct their duties,
Review and correction of technical documentation following completion of avionics work before submission of paper work to technical records,
Research new avionics product lines and liaison with the company marketing and sales departments,
Preparation of customer avionics installation and repair quotes,
Initiate and, if possible, complete in shop training for avionics personnel, as required.
Applicants must, as a minimum;
Possess a thorough knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations,
Possess a thorough knowledge of the day to day functions of a Transport Canada AMO and CAR 703/704 AOC,
Possess a valid Transport Canada AME Class "E" license.
Have strong organizational skills,
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills,
Have a good working knowledge of MS Office programs, and computerized maintenance programs.
Be willing to work to work flexible hours as required, and
Be willing to travel as required.
Preference will be given to those applicants with previous Avionics and aviation management experience.
