In your role, you will:

Oversees the safe and efficient operation of BBAD Flight Ops demonstration aircraft and operating procedures. Responsible for the safe conduct of demonstration flights on worldwide flying operations, in accordance with Bombardier policies and Federal Aviation Administration regulations. Will also be assigned collateral duties and projects to support the goals of the department.

• Perform duties of Pilot in Command when so assigned
• Conduct any given flight with the highest regard to safety of the crew, passengers, cargo, and equipment
• Comply with all federal regulations and departmental policies
• Learn the role of flight operations pilot as follows:
a. Complete the indoctrination training as stated in the Flight Operations Manual
b. Obtain a type rating on a company product
c. Understand the contents of the Flight Operations Manual
d. Understand the Safety Management System concept
e. Fly in the North American theatre of operations
f. Being introduced to international operations
g. Start completing items in the Training Upgrade Checklist
• Complete collateral duties as assigned
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Chief Pilot

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

• You have an ATP
• You have a minimum Total Flight Time of 3500 hours
• You have a minimum of 1500 hours Multi-engine Turbine
• You have an FCC Radio Permit
• You have the ability for unrestricted world-wide travel
• You have interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, all levels of management team, and other departments
• You have computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate iPad, email, and web-based applications
• You have planning and organization skills necessary to plan, prioritize and coordinate workload
• You must be able to work in an environment subject to varying climatic conditions and varying levels of cabin pressurization
• You must be able to work 16 consecutive duty days, which may extend up to 18 hours, and cross as many as 12 times zones
• You have Type-rating in Bombardier aircraft - preferred
• You are a CFI - Certified Flight Instructor - preferred
• You are a MEI – Multi Engine Instructor - preferred
