Full-Time in Daytona Beach, FL - Aircraft Maintenance
A&P/IA Manager – Piston Aircraft
ATP is looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Manager to join our growing team at our aircraft maintenance facility in Daytona Beach, FL. We need a manager that can fit in quickly, has a positive attitude, and has general aviation experience working on piston-powered aircraft; preferably Cessna 172, Piper PA-28, and Piper PA-44.
Position Overview
This position works as an aircraft maintenance manager performing and supervising inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance on piston flight training aircraft. The successful candidate will possess the appropriate personality to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a constant focus on safety and quality.
Minimum Qualifications
Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification
FAA Inspection Authorization
5 or more years of piston-powered aircraft maintenance experience
Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations airworthiness requirements
Possess adequate tools
Successful background check and drug screening
Desired Qualifications
Private pilot license
Avionics troubleshooting experience with modern avionics
Responsibilities
Perform efficient troubleshooting, aircraft maintenance, and repair in accordance with applicable regulations, manufacturer’s instructions, and company policies
Ensure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting & completing required forms, computer entries, and logbook entries
Supervise and manage team of technicians
Follow all policies and procedures
Keep a clean and orderly work environment
Perform job duties in a safe manner
Perform other duties as assigned

$15,000 Employer Paid Life Insurance
